Charlotte has endless things to do over each weekend so here’s our top four events for this weekend.
Tread Nightly / Tread Brightly is a unique two day event where the run starts at sunset and continues through the night. Campout and start running the same distance in the morning. You can do a half marathon or a 4-mile run, one or both days.
If you haven’t gone to one this summer you must! Fresh, local food makes the best salads and toppings on a sandwich. There are always locally created goods which makes this one a weekly visit for me. Tuesday through Saturday 8AM-6PM and Sunday 12PM-6PM
Get your butt to a food truck.
Matthews Food Truck Friday brings over ten different food trucks to the historic downtown. Live music and playgrounds nearby make it ideal for all ages. No pets or alcohol though.
For those above the drinking age Unknown Brewing Co. hosts Friday Night Festival every week with seven different food trucks with live music to bring the South End to life. Good eats always come from a food truck so you can’t go wrong with either location.
PNC Music Pavilion brings a killer lineup
Kool & The Gang’s Keepin’ The Funk Alive Tour starts us off on Friday, July 22nd. Tickets range from $18-188
Gwen Stefani will be performing Saturday, July 23rd. Tickets are $14-68.
Snoop Dogg and Wiz Khalifa will follow up on Sunday, July 24th. Tickets are $35-130.
Honestly I could spend my whole weekend at PNC watching these acts. No matter what, make your weekend great!
