Suicide Squad doesn’t need ratings after making $135 million on opening weekend

After tough reviews from many critics, Suicide Squad’s rating was at 26% on Rotten Tomatoes and it’s future was looking grim. Either out of curiosity of how disliked this movie was or the general amount of attention that was drawn towards this movie it paid off as hordes of people went out to see Warner Bros. – DC comics Suicide Squad last weekend bringing in a record breaking amount for super-hero movies. The Associated Press reported, “After fans flocked to theaters on Thursday night and Friday, audiences dropped steeply on Saturday. ” Signs like these could be bad for a movie that has to recoup over $175 million in production and advertising costs.
