An old restaurant with a new look is coming to Greenville, South Carolina. Construction is already underway for a redesigned Bojangles, with updates inside and out.
The exterior is completely different from the old restaurant styles – it features steel canopies, tile and a huge sign that reads “Famous Chicken ‘n Biscuits.”
The interior will have a window where customers can watch biscuits be made every 20 minutes. The restaurant also will offer free wifi and phone-charging stations, according to a press release.
A true “biscuit theatre” experience.
“This new design concept represents our commitment to operational excellence and enhancing the consumer experience at our restaurants,” said Randy Icard, Bojangles’ vice president of construction and development.
He added that this move will bring in new patrons without losing loyal fans.
Bojangles plans to expand this new idea beyond the company’s hometown as well.
Icard said three existing locations in Charlotte are slated to be remodeled: Billy Graham Parkway near the airport; South Tryon Street near Arrowood Road; and Steele Creek Road near I-485 in southwest Charlotte.
The first location is slated to open by early 2017.
