Former MLB infielder, Gold Glove winner named manager for Charlotte Knights

The Charlotte Knights, the Triple-A affiliate for the Chicago White Sox, are getting some new leadership for the 2017 season. Former All-Star infielder Mark Grudzielanek has been named the new general manager for the minor league baseball team.

Grudzielanek started his career in the majors in 1995 after being drafted by the Montreal Expos. He led a successful career spanning 15 seasons, playing for a total of six teams and batting an average of .289. He won a Gold Glove for the Kansas City Royals in 2006.
