Trump’s ties to Russia go south
James Dodson, a veteran reporter and author, has remained unchanged about Eric Trump telling him that a Lake Norman golf course was largely funded by Russian investment. Trump National Golf Club Charlotte is one of 17 locations that are “some of the most iconic golf properties and championship courses in the world,” according to the Trump Golf website. The Charlotte Observer confirmed with Dodson that he did not hear Eric Trump wrong when he said Carolina location was made possible by Russian financiers. Topgolf scoping out second location in Charlotte
As Topgolf prepares to open its first North Carolina location this summer, renderings of a second location are going before the Charlotte City Council meeting Monday, according to the Charlotte Business Journal. Patric Cannon says “anything else is God’s will” when it comes to running for office
Former Charlotte Mayor Patric Cannon made his first public appearance Saturday at the Black Political Caucus Forum after being released from prison, where he served time for federal corruption charges.
