Charlotte police are still looking for an Uber driver who went to pick up a client Saturday night and never returned. Police are asking for the public’s help in finding 44-year-old Marlo Johnis Medina-Chevez and locating his 2008 dark blue Nissan Pathfinder with North Carolina tag PDV-4382. Police also have brought in homicide detectives as part of the investigation.
CMPD believe Medina-Chevez is in “grave danger.” Police also noted that Medina-Chevez and his car went missing Saturday night, and however far a car could travel in that time is the range of the investigation.
“We really need to find this vehicle. It’s going to be key in locating Medina-Chevez,” Maj. Cam Selvey said during a press conference Monday afternoon.
Although limited information was given at the press conference, CMPD said Uber was being “very cooperative with (Charlotte Police),” Selvey said.
