Charlotte Uber driver still missing; two arrested after car found in Maryland

Charlotte police say they are one step closer to finding 44-year-old Marlo Johnis Medina-Chevez after he went to work as an Uber driver Saturday night and went missing.

Maryland police pulled over the missing Nissan Pathfinder and arrested two suspects in Maryland, who are being questioned and have been charged in connection with the case.

The suspects are Diontray Adams and James Stevens. Adams has been charged with credit card fraud for using Medina-Chevez’s credit card, while Stevens has been charged with possession of a stolen vehicle.

Police said this case is still being handled by homicide detectives, but there is more hope now that they have found the vehicle.
