A major multi-use development has broken ground in northwest Charlotte that will contain office and retail space, as well as over 500 residential units.
MPV Properties is developing Riverbend Village just south of Mountain Island Lake, with 330,000 square feet of retail, 180,000 square feet in office space and an adjacent housing development, all on 120 acres.
The retail centerpiece is a 66,000 square foot building that will be a movie theatre, bowling alley and gaming center. Eighteen of the 45 total retail spaces currently are reserved with tenants such as Harris Teeter, Freddy’s Burgers, Dunkin’ Donuts and a UPS store, to name a few.
The project is expected to be completed by late summer of 2018.
